Verdant Pastures is the celebration of all the green that a superbloom brings! Growing up in the Bay Area and visiting my grandmother in Sonoma County, it was such a treat when all the pastures were green in the spring. It wasn’t never long until they turned that classic California straw color but when they were lush and green was always my favorite. This colorway is a tonal with pistachio and herb greens, topped with herb green and olive speckles that also have bits of gold, navy, and rust in them.

As with all hand dyed yarn, natural variation from skein to skein is considered normal. When making large items that require multiple skeins in the same colorway, alternating skeins is recommended for the most consistent results. A small amount of excess dye being released may occur during the first wash or two. When working with high contrast colors, using a splash of white vinegar in with the water used to soak the item can help prevent color bleeding.
