Desert Blooms was the most fun color to dye up in the Superbloom Collection! The bright desert flowers blooming after the unusual amount of rainfall this past winter made for great contrast with the other more neutral desert colors in the skein. This colorway has bright raspberry, terra cotta, blush, peach, clay, sky blue, and pistachio green all melting together like a desert vista topped with herb green and olive speckles that also have bits of gold, navy, and rust in them.

As with all hand dyed yarn, natural variation from skein to skein is considered normal. When making large items that require multiple skeins in the same colorway, alternating skeins is recommended for the most consistent results. A small amount of excess dye being released may occur during the first wash or two. When working with high contrast colors, using a splash of white vinegar in with the water used to soak the item can help prevent color bleeding.
